With a double sink unit one of your sinks will house a garbage disposal.

If the above steps fall short or you have a double sink with both sides stopped up there s a good chance that the clog is located in the trap the u shaped portion of your sink s drainage pipe.
Run your garbage disposal and see if the water begins to clear.
After that you can then turn on the disposal and at the same time run boiling the water down the disposal sink drain.
Activate the reset switch at the side or on the bottom of the unit.
When unclogging a sink with a garbage disposal confirm that the unit is not the problem as soon as possible.
Now fill the other sink about a quarter full of water as well.
If the clog is in the disposal running it may break it up.
You shouldn t use a plunger on that side of the double sink.
Remove the plunger and the plug from both sides and see if the water in the sink begins to drain after this action.
Turn on the garbage disposal.
If this does not fix the clog in your kitchen sink try doing the same action again but on the opposite sides.
