Because an aluminum surface is smooth spray paint it for best results. Vinegar and borax are other good eco friendly alternatives for cleaning mold and mildew.

I recommend using a spray nozzle with an angled setting and working from the top down. Start with the most noticeable and difficult spots first to loosen them up. Sand it with 400 to 600 grit sandpaper. Spray this mixture on remaining spots.

Scrub the spots on the siding and let the solution soak in for a few minutes. A zinc oxide primer metal primer is best for bare aluminum. Thoroughly scrub the surface of the siding with a dual sided sponge or scrub brush.
