If there are still bits stuck to the carpet afterward try gently scrubbing the area with a carpet cleaner fabric cleaner or rubbing alcohol. Using a warm iron slowly press the iron on top of the paper bag or cloth. Cover the wax start by simply placing the bag over an area where the wax spilled.

Turn the iron onto a warm not hot setting with the steam turned off. You ll want to keep the iron moving consistently. Bag of ice or an ice pack iron a hair dryer can work in a pinch paper towel terry cloth towel or brown paper bag. Remove the plastic bag and begin to scrape the wax off the carpet using a dull knife.
