Nyguard plus contains both an igr and an insecticide and it is safe to use as a crack and crevice spray and as a broadcast for listed pests. Cimexa is extremely effective when applied properly which you seem to have done so. Like any other insects cimexa will generally kill carpet beetles within 24 hours of contact.
